Garlic bread

Ingredients
- 1 loaf of French bread or Italian bread
- 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 4-5 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder optional, for extra garlic flavor
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Garlic Butter:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- If using, add the grated Parmesan cheese and garlic powder to the butter mixture and mix well.
Prepare the Bread:
- Cut the loaf of bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
